Defence Select Committee publish damning findings in report ‘Fairness without Fear’.

The committee’s report was also covered on the Today programme on BBC Radio 4. August 2019.

In the report, which is titled ‘Fairness without Fear: The work of the Service Complaints Ombudsman’, the committee argues that the system for handling complaints by Armed Forces personnel is not yet effective. The Daily Telegraph, The Times and the BBC News website have all published reports on the committee’s investigation. The BBC notes that a disproportionate number of complaints are made by women and personnel from BAME communities.
